### When is an invoice generated for Stripe settlements?
An invoice is created for each Stripe settlement, which may occur more than once per day.

### How does GiftSync manage manual payments?
GiftSync simplifies the handling of manual payments like bank transfers, cheques and cash by allowing you to upload bank transaction data via CSV. It uses configurable rules and Virtuous data to identify donors and match recurring donations efficiently. This process saves time and automatically generates daily invoices and journal entries based on gift allocations within Virtuous.

### What triggers an invoice for manual payments?
Invoices are automatically generated daily after the bank transactions CSV is processed and gifts are imported into Virtuous. Each gift is listed as a separate line item on the invoice for complete transparency.

### What happens if a donation's project or gift splits change?
When a gift's project allocation changes, GiftSync first generates a new journal entry to return the funds to a default revenue account. It then creates another journal entry to correctly reallocate the funds to the new project.

### How does the system respond to significant changes in gift allocation?
For significant reallocations, such as a large donation being moved to a new project, GiftSync sends an email notification detailing the changes. It creates new journal entries on the day of the change to reflect the updated allocation whilst preserving the original records.

### What happens if a gift from a previous financial year is changed?
GiftSync maintains all existing records and creates new journal entries on the day of the change to reflect the updated allocation.

### What types of reports are available?
